| Introduction | potassium hydrogen sulfate (chemical formula: KHSO4) is a potassium hydrogen sulfate salt. In nature, it exists in rare heavy potassium alum and heavy potassium alum. It belongs to the acid salt, acid strong, generally in the red wine industry and analytical chemistry used as acidic reagents. The aqueous solution precipitates insoluble potassium sulfate when mixed with ethanol, similarly to the mixed solution of potassium sulfate and sulfuric acid. |

| production method | 1.87g of K2SO4 was mixed with 27ml of concentrated H2SO4 (relative density 1.84) in a platinum dish and heated carefully until the reaction became completely transparent. The melt of the reactant is poured into a porcelain or platinum vessel cooled in cold water, and after solidification, it is crushed and transferred to a closed bottle for storage. 2. Dissolve 50kg industrial potassium carbonate with 40kg distilled water, stir while heating, and filter insoluble impurities with three-layer filter paper after dissolution. The clear and transparent filtrate is heated and evaporated at 80~100 °c (to prevent boiling when evaporating). When the density is 1.65~1.68, the heating is stopped and the crystallization is naturally cooled, when the crystallization is complete (about 25? (~ 30 °c), take out and spin dry, and dry in an oven at 100 °c. |
